The v2 upgrade (09/01/2025 onward) provides two primary benefits:

• You can now lock down the film holder using two thumb screws that press it into the frame. This ensures it stays in a consistent position, improving consistency.
• The tabs holding onto the masks located under the holder are now increased in number from 4 to 6. This improves stability of the mask and makes it less fiddly to put in place.
